Introduction to Peace One Day 2014's reaction

After watching the "Introduction to Peace One Day 2014", I can see that nowadays, people are trying their best to bring peace, bring happiness to everyone in the world especially in Africa. Like what Jeremy Gilley- the founder of Peace One Day did, he and his friends went over the world, the place that was having war, where people are very poor, they didn't even had things to eat or drink. Jeremy came there, brought a lot of medicine and food supply for people there. They seemed very happpy when they saw him and his organization. One special thing of Peace One Day 2014 is Jeremy Gilley has invited Akon- a famous singer to join and to be an image ambassador and Akon is very happy with that. I hope the long-time project of Peace One Day : bring peace to everybody in the word will be successful and there will be more people join in this organization, make this group become biger and bigger.

What is the most important issue?

People in 21st century are now facing with many issues in the world. Besides issues like global warming, pollution or natural disasters, etc, we are also facing a big, important issue called Ebola.

Ebola is a disease caused by Ebola virus in human. People will have fever, sore throat, muscle pain or headache. Then they will go to another stage: vomit, diarrhea, their liver and kidney function also declines, some people even have symptoms of dengue.

Ebola is a virus that stay in animals' body like tigers, lions or bats. It will get into your body when you touch them. Ebola can go into your body if you accidentally touch a needles that is already used. Also, virus Ebola also go through body by blood, even clothes that we daily use.

So what are the solutions or at least the way to prevent this virus to spread out? Always wash your hands. This is mandatory because in the whole day, you will contact with a lot of people, a lot of thing, who knows one of them have a virus??? Another idea is always use hand gloves. You may think it is redundant but it will make you feel like you have a strong, big shield in front of you so that the virus will hard to get into your body.

These are all of the solutions that we can do now. I hope that the issue about the virus Ebola will be solved, hospitals will have the good vaccines to deal with it.

Letter with regard to pirates

Dear the founders of the Pirate Bay,

I'm a student in ISHCMC AAVN. Seeing what you are doing is bad, today, I decide to write to you a letter to discuss about the problem that you have made.

As I know, you made a web called http://thepiratebay.se/ so that every Internet users can access into it and download everything such as musics, games or movies that are not even published yet for free. You think what you are doing is right and help Internet users a lot, but did you ever think of the loss that the copyright holders have to face? They used their brains, their energy to make a film, a movie, or a game and they just want to get 1$ back for each turn of user download (music). That doesn't cost too much, it's just like a price for their efforts in months, even years. I'm sure that those products owners won't be happy if their products are stolen like that. So in my opinion, I think that you should stop sneaking into the private system, stealing owners' private products and publish it for free. I know you do that for all the people in the Internet. Some people they don't want to pay for downloading games or music but what you are doing is guilty. Think about what if  one day the police caught you, bring you to jail, like Peter Sunde and Gotfridd Svartholm Warg, your future will shut down. All of you who can make the website or can use some system to hack into other website are all talented. So why don't use your talent to make something useful for the society or your country?

I think I should stop hear. You have gone so far but if you know how to stop, there always be another opportunity for you to make your life again. Just close that bad website, helping the government, helping the copyright holders.

Piracy

As everybody know, pirates are the ocean thieves. They usually wait for some cargo ships, transport important goods and then unexpectedly, they come over them, attack, use every weapons that they have (long time ago, they uses swords, but now guns are used) and try to occupy the ships. Some pirates kill the all the people in the ship, some live them alive.

Nowadays, not only there are pirates in seas, in oceans, there are also pirates in the technology field which we call piracy. This organization is found to sneak into a system, steal the privacy information of that system, spread it out on the internet so that people can see even it is copyright.

A lot of questions are set to this organization and the question that makes everybody concern about is "Why  is this organization dangerous?" The answer is they harm the system that keeps the copyright information of the people who hold it and then take it out, spread on the Internet. Or they may hack into system and can even see for example new musics of the artist that hasn't been published or the new movies of a movie company (example Universal Studio). After that they steal it then upload on their own website called http://thepiratebay.se/ and they get it all free for searchers. These activities cause alot of loss for the copyright holders. For example, a song causes about 1$ each turn to download, when it is displayed on the piracy web, that new song is free to download so that means the singer will lose about 1 million dollars (if there are 1 million downloading turns) and I'm sure that singer won't like that to happen.

So what will be the solutions for todays and future? There are some solutions that I can give out.
  1) Using Peter Troost's system (a system that can monitor harmful software and kick it out from the web) called Meterware.
  2) Raise the awareness of the Internet users that piracy is guilty. It may be useful for them sometimes but who knows when it will become very harmful to users?
In conclusion, I think that piracy is bad, it hurts a lot to the copyright holders. I hope the organization will understand and stop in the right time before the government can find them and make that website collapse.

Causes and solutions for Income Inequality

INCOME INEQUALITY

Income Inequality as we know is the unequal distribution of household or individual income across the various participants in an economy. Income inequality is often presented as the percentage of income to a percentage of population. For example, a statistic may indicate that 70% of a country's income is controlled by 20% of that country's residents.

It is often associated with the idea of income "fairness". It is generally considered "unfair" if the rich have a disproportionately large portion of a country's income compared to their population.

So, what cause the income inequality?
Mostly, I think the causes came from the personal issue or these came from the government. About the personal issues, I think may be that person is very poor due to his or her family circumstance so that his or her parents can't effort for him/her to go to school (having education). The second cause I think is about the government. They might got a sketchy education system that don't provide enough knowledge to people, somehow make them become illiterate.

Solutions: I think that the Income Inequality most come from the lack of educating, so my solutions will talk mainly about helping the education such as school, teachers (maybe some of them can be volunteers) for poor people or children that are lack of conditions at being educated. Although it is a free school but government still has to monitor the education system as certain as possible, don't discriminate the poor people. Otherwise, we can also ask help from charity organizations such as UNICEF or UNESCO,...

Political Compass

This is the political compass. It has vertical and horizontal line. From the left is communism to the right is liberalism, and from top is fascism to bottom is anarchism. The test is not too difficult, you just have to answer strongly agree, agree, disagree or strongly disagree. 

After finish the test I found out that I was in authoritarian right down near to the libertarian right.

Then I have to answer 3 questions.

1)     Do you think the questions are fair and valid? Yes. I think so. It relates a lot to politics.

2)     Do you think that the test gave an accurate representation of the person or character that you entered data for? I think it is accurate.

3)     How could this test help to make predictions over how a government or politician will approach a problem? I think they will have to go directly into the problem and solve it as fast as they could.
